The bisurans are a tall, beautiful, and graceful people easily spotted by their four arms. The two shoulders are on rotating sockets so their arms can freely move over or under one another, or rest side by side. Very few bisuran fashions involve sleeves, since any binding at all dramatically reduces the flexibility of their shoulders. Their sense are notoriously dull, skewing towards nearsighted eyes and poor hearing. Although they appear very like humans, no marriage between a bisuran and a human has ever produced a child.

Most bisurans hail from the Horse nation and form the majority of the population there, especially among the elite ruling castes. According to their own legends were a simple people before the cataclysm, but when the heavens fell the divine host walked among them, married, and the bisurans are the result. They also believe that just as many of these ancestors were from the raised hells, explaining why their people still know hatred and evil despite their divine roots. Matra was an ancient bisuran and is honored in many lands as the founder of the Long Outsider religion.

Bisuran skin tones range from light blue to golden brown. Bluer shades are generally seen as a mark of favor or a lineage that goes back to gods rather than demons. Golden skin is considered more common, and is associated with infernal parentage. The complex caste system uses coloration in some cases, so bisurans tend to be heavily stratified and prejudiced. In many cases they are more tolerant of other species than they are towards other members of their own species and culture. Those who defy this strict segregation often end up banished or traveling to other lands to escape the constant social pressure.
