You can launch devastating attacks while hidden. Normally when you attack while hidden, you are automatically revealed and remove the other decoy, and replace the attacking decoy with your character. The target may use a guard to roll sense, and if successful use a defense against your surprise attack. If the target doesn't make the attempt or fails then no other contest against the attack is possible and the target is automatically down. Note that you may use your own guard or defense to contest the sense check with your sneak as usual.
- Requires: Sneak
Template:Ambush1 Template:Ambush2 Template:Ambush3
Momentum Stunts
- Finishing Strike: Your surprise attack deals +5dE.
Default Mastery Options
- Killer Instinct: Your surprise attacks deal an extra +3dE.
- Patient Shot: If you prepare a surprise attack you may choose the result of effects rather than rolling.
- Silent Takedown: When you take a target out you immediately become hidden.
Other Mastery Options
- Poisoned Blade: You may use a snap to add a dose of toxin to your weapon. If you gain interference you do not suffer the toxin yourself.
- Secret Weapons: You may use an action to draw and attack with a holdout weapon. You use your sneak score for the attack, and it counts as a surprise attack.
