You analyze clues and cues easily. Normally when you search for clues you find any present without a check. If a clue is inaccessible you learn that a clue may be present, and its possible locations. Once you possess a clue you make an inspect check against your study score. If you succeed you learn one pointer, but if you fail you get a penalty on all further inspect checks to that clue. Additional attempts require a project each.

  • Deduce: You gain a bonus on sense checks against clues and cues. When you inspect you get all the pointers, plus the location of the nearest clue or cue from the same mystery.

  • Evolutions
    • Inductive Genius: You need one fewer pointer than usual to solve a mystery.
    • Infallible Logic: When you solve a mystery you may include incorrect pointers, so long as you have enough correct pointers it counts as a success.
    • Lie Detector: When someone makes a statement you can check it for falsehoods. You roll a contest between your scholarship and the opponent's appearance, and you gain a bonus. If you win you can determine which parts of a statement are true, false, or purposefully ambiguous.
    • Criminal Catalog: When you individual with the wanted fault (and an undisguised impression) you know that individual's name and the list of crimes he or she is wanted for.
