Facet
Attributes measure your overall physical, mental, and social development. Higher attribute scores represent exceptional prowess in that area. By default there are three attributes: strength, reason, and influence. Each of the attributes offers direct benefits, plus indirect benefits called controls which can increase related skills. In cases where there isn't an obvious skill you may roll checks directly against the attribute score. The point cost for each possible score is found on the attribute cost chart.
- Strength: Physical speed, power, health, and hardiness.
- Reason: Mental acuity, ingenuity, sanity, and determination.
- Influence: Social prowess, guile, confidence, and sophistication.
