Armor and Penetration

Armor reduces Damage. Light Armor reduces Damage under 3 by 1, minimum 1. Heavy Armor reduces Damage 4 or 5 by 1, minimum 1. Vehicle Armor reduces any damage by 1 step, no minimum.

OR

Armor 1 grants 1 Save die. Armor 2 grants 2 Save dice.

OR

Armor is a separate Save.

OR

Heavy Armor has a value. If the Value is more than Damage, then Damage drops to a single Strike. If Damage is equal or greater than Armor then Damage is reduced by one. Penetration counters Heavy Armor. If Penetration is less than Armor there is no effect. If Penetration equals or exceeds Armor then Armor is ignored.

Penetration Alter

  • If Penetration is less than half the Armor rating it has no effect.
  • If Penetration is more than double Armor then Armor then Damage is automatically 5 (Heavy Damage 1).
